One man's life with hypothyroidism

About

I'm Paul Chris Jones. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2014.

At that time, I was tired, irritable, depressed, and I had big bags under my eyes, big enough to keep your shopping in.

My doctor did a thyroid test and found that my TSH was 6.38. That's not extremely high – I have heard of people with a TSH of 100 – but it was high enough for the doctor to prescribe me with levothyroxine..

The medication turned my life around. I had energy again. I was happy again. I could smell flowers again. It was good.

One day I came across Stop the Thyroid Madness. (If you don't know what Stop the Thyroid Madness is, then it is basically a website that tells you to go against everything doctors say about hypothyroidism. The main thing the site tells you to do is take something called “natural desiccated thyroid” instead of doctor-approved levothyroxine.)

The site convinced me that I needed natural desiccated thyroid instead of levothyroxine. So I started to look for natural desiccated thyroid online.

The problem was that there wasn't much information about where to actually buy the stuff. You could read about natural desiccated thyroid all you wanted, but it seemed it was taboo to tell people where to buy it.

Since no one else was writing about where to find natural desiccated thyroid online, I thought I would, to help other people. And that was how this website was born.

Definitely the most popular part of this site is the page that tells you where to find natural desiccated thyroid. I hope that this page, and the rest of this site, helps you. However, do keep an open mind about whether natural desiccated thyroid is for you, or whether the doctor-approved levothyroxine is better. Personally, I think they both have their merits.

Finally, I want to say this. You are reading this because, I guess, you have hypothyroidism. I want you to know that you are not alone. There are millions of people who have suffered just like you and I have and are still suffering, and there are some who will continue to suffer. I hope that by sharing information we can reduce this suffering and make the world a better place for people with hypothyroidism.
